Weaving

Brain Storm: Check out the weaving link. Draw three ideas (including colors) of your weaving. Turn this in for points.

Weaving: Either on the branch, or loom. See me for a loom. Your weaving should have a pattern and a color scheme. You do not have to weave with yarn. You could use cloth strips, electrical cords, plants, beads, etc.

Check out the embroidery links on the left (under "for the curious"). Find 3 embroidery artworks that catch your eye. Draw a small (1/2 the size of a dollar bill) picture of each. Don't fret about drawing skills- you won't be graded on that.

Your quilt square will be like a mini quilt.
Finished size will be 6" to 10" square.
Choose colors and shapes carefully.
No "raw" edges.
